Our aim for The Wishing Chair is to provide children with quality, fun, long lasting furniture that will grow with them and not grow out of date!

We are a family run business in beautiful Whakatane. We are members of the Master Joiners Association and have been custom building kitchens for the last ten years. Having three children ourselves and building furniture for their rooms we decided to start making childrens furniture for everyone!

Our factory in Whakatane has a fantastic team of qualified cabinet makers, the latest in precision cutting technology and a large spray booth for lacquering the furniture. From start to finish your furniture is made in our factory.  

Come and see our showroom at 21 Gateway Drive Whakatane. Hours 9am til 5pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays by appointment.
